The songs to Shadow are more rock and roll. Especially compared to the other Sonic games. It has good sound effects. You have a partner, A good or evil one depending on what path you chose ( you don't have a partner if you choose neutral). They rarely help you attack there mains roles are just talking.

Nice graphics, it's very three dimensional. Not super realistic but no complaints.

Good gameplay similar fast pace to most Sonic games. You can run, jump, attack. The main difference here is the guns, there are a lot of different types. In all levels you can choose from two or even three objectives. Like get to the end of the level, collect enough coins, destroy a vehicle and more. No matter how many times you disobey or betray Sonic/Black Doom they still ask you complete there mission. There are also new gauges an evil gauge and a good gauge. You fill up the evil one by destroying cops GUN robots ect., when it's full you can use chaos blast. A powerful blast that destroys everything around you. You can get the good one full by destroying aliens. Note: Eggman's robots can be considered good or evil depending on the mission. When the good ones full you can use Chaos Control that let's you warp father along in the level, but if your trying to complete a certain mission you may skip something. Also if you use Chaos Control on bosses it will just slow down time.

Ok replay, they force you to complete the game ten times before you unlock the final ending. It's different the first five times but after that your basically repeating the same levels. Even after you unlock the final ending you can still try to get A ratings on every mission but it's very time consuming.

A pretty in depth story. It doesn't really make sense unless you beat all alternate endings. Shadow has lost his memory and you need to get it back. Feels like your watching the sequel to a movie you haven't seen.

Similar to most Sonic games. The only real differences are good and evil bars, getting to be good or evil, and the guns.

If you really like Sonic games you may want to try this one out. Although it's not great, it's not horrible ether.
