Catch Mew on Gold, Silver, Crystal.

Incase you have a gameshark you can use this code.

If you don't have a gameshark then you need the following

1.Pokemon Yellow/Blue/Red

2. Pokemon Stadium 2 with a game pack.

Now catch 150 Pokemon on Gold/Silver/Crystal (yes it can be done without trading.). 
Now use the cheat for red/blue/yellow to catch mew.
Put mew in the Pokemon Staduim 2 box.
Turn off your game and put Gold/silver/crystal in the game pak, now take out the Pokemon (If you have less than 150 Pokemon or you didn't save at a Pokemon center it won't work.).

an alternate way is to have Two gameboys and a link cable instead of Pokemon Stadium 2 and trade Mew onto gold/silver/crystal.
